On the admin pages you may have spotted a tab which says 'Incomplete Registrations'.
'Incomplete Registration' means that the parent started registering, and complete their email details and set a password, but they didn't finish registration by adding their pupil and class and clicking 'Done'. This means you can't approve them yet.
To rectify this, the parent can return and login to Classlist using their email and password. They will be taken back to the registration process and can add a pupil and class. They will then be available for approval by Ambassadors and Class Reps.
Previous checks we have made suggest that incomplete registration generally happen if a parent was distracted during registration and didn't complete it. Occasionally the parent doesn't complete the form because they are having second thoughts about joining and may need some reassurance.
The parent does receive an auto email from Classlist the same day that they started registering, letting them know that they can return and complete the registration process. However, if you see the parent remaining on the list it can help if they receive a reminder from an Ambassador or Class Rep.
If the parent has concerns about joining, you may like to reassure them that Classlist doesn't pass parent contact details to third parties and their details are kept fully secure. The contact details they do share can only be seen by parents in their own year group, but all their contact details can actually be hidden from even these parents by editing their privacy settings.
