Sometimes things change, details need to be amended or maybe you forgot to invite a particular set of guests. Not to worry, the Classlist app lets you edit your events wherever you are, from your computer or mobile device.
The process itself is quite simple, simply find the event you wish to amend and click 'Edit Event'. Remember, you must be the original creator of an event to be able to edit any details.
If you have created the event through the 'Community Events' area for Administrators, you will need to be on the Admin side of Classlist to see the 'Edit Event' button.
This will bring you to the following page, where you can change the even's title, description, date and time as well as location. Changing the location will also change where the event is located on the map.
After you have made your changes, remember to click 'Update'. This will then email the necessary recipients, informing them that the details of the event have changed.
If you wish to invite more guests, simply click the 'Invite more guests' button, and enter the necessary details.
N.B Please note that once an event has been declared a non-ticket event you will not be able to add tickets at a later date. Events that have been declared ticketed can have their prices and ticket numbers changed however. This is especially useful if you are selling physical tickets at the same time and need to reduce the number you will be selling online.
