This page acts like a handy profile page for your school and Classlist site, and is capable of providing stacks of useful information to your parent users.
Ambassadors and Staff Admins can edit any of the sections at any time by clicking on the pink pencil icons. Parents and other Admin users will only be able to view this information, not edit it.
The page itself is broken down into a number of sections:
Your Classlist Community (admin members)
The School Logo & Photo
Adding a picture and logo to your school page will really help parents connect Classlist with your school while adding a personal touch. Hover the cursor over the default image (the blue picture below) and look for the camera icon: click on it to open the photo uploader.
Download the logo from your school website, or ask your school office for a .jpg of the school logo, then upload it to your Classlist site by clicking on the circular logo image, allowing you to add your own logo in the same way as the main photo. Tap for more advice on uploading a logo or school cover photo.
If you need help with your logo due to its shape not fitting into the logo space well, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can resize it for you!

School Name & Other Details
You can add or edit your school's name and address at any time, as well as add a contact number and email address. Notice that when you move the cursor over a section the pink pencil with the word 'edit' pops up. Click on this and it will bring up a dialogue box where you can enter and save information. If you click on the school structure section edit button it will take you away from the school profile page to the relevant area of the site.
Ambassadors and staff can add useful links here for parents, by entering the title and web address and clicking the 'Add' button, which remains greyed out until you enter text. Again to edit a link just click on the little pencil icon.
You can use this space to direct parents to any useful sites you can think of - try adding the school's homepage page as a minimum! If you want to upload documents which will remain available for a long time (such as PTA minutes or school uniform order forms), we recommend you use Google Docs or a similar file-sharing system, and add the link for parents to access in this Helpful Links section. Key people in your Classlist Community
This section features key contacts for parents in your Classlist community as well as giving them a visual representation of how the Administrator structure works. If you and your team have not already uploaded a profile picture, make sure you do now: enabling other parents to see your faces really helps boost morale and makes you more approachable.
You can see all your Admin members in one place in the Ambassadors and Reps Group, which is automatically populated by the system when you appoint or remove admin members. You do not need to manage the membership of the group.
From the Ambassadors and Reps Group (in the blue parent area) you can communicate with all your admins by writing a post to the group. You can add photos to posts, but if you need a longer message or an attachment, you should send an Announcement (from the green Admin area). You can send an Announcement to any group if you are an admin member.

The Mission Statement
Under the web links section there is a fully customisable text space. This allows you the freedom to write your PTA/Friends group's mission statement. It's a great space to introduce yourself as a group to the wider parent body, as well as ask for volunteers or just let people know how to contact you.
