The Invite Parents feature allows you to invite other parents from your school to join Classlist. The sense of community on Classlist will continue to grow as more parents join, and the process itself couldn't be easier!
If you are on a computer go to your Classlists page and click the red 'Invite Parents' button. You will see a page similar to the image below: enter parents' email addresses (separated by a space or a comma if you are entering several addresses at the same time), personalise the default invitation message if you like, and click send.
You can also invite friends via Facebook, just click the button and select the group you wish to share the invitation with. Remember, you are inviting parents to join your Classlist site, so only invite parents who have children at the school.
If you have visited the site from a mobile device, you will notice that the blue Facebook button has changed to an orange 'Invite' button. This will allow you to invite parents via a number of Apps. For more information on inviting parents via specific Apps, please click here.
By clicking this you will be able to invite parents from various apps, just click on the app you wish to invite them using and you will be prompted with some on-screen instructions. Again, remember to only invite parents at your current school as the invitation will link directly to the school.
After this, they'll receive an email that will allow them to quickly complete registration with Classlist, before being approved by a Class Rep or School Ambassador. For more information on the approval process, please click here.
