Announcements can be sent out by Ambassadors, Class Admins and Community Reps. They are a great way for organisers at your school to communicate about important events or issues. An announcement can also contain an attached file, such as minutes of a meeting or a newsletter. They are sent as an email as well as appearing on your Parent Board unless you have opted out of receiving emails in your notification settings. They will appear in the Parentboard feed as well as in the Announcements section.
If you want to find a specific announcement you can navigate to the Announcement page which shows a list of all announcements by their title and date of publication. On a mobile you can find Announcements under the 'more' menu.
You can comment on an announcement; these comments can then be seen by the announcement sender, as well as other recipients of the announcement.
Attachments can be downloaded by clicking to view the Announcement and then clicking on the attachment. For more information on downloading attachments, please click here.
