Some pupils will be returning to school with social distancing still in place. One of the details that needs fleshing out is scheduling school drop offs and pick ups to minimise parent interaction.
If you haven’t used it already you may want to explore Classlist’s sign up tool. You can ask parents to sign up to particular times to drop off their children.
- Create a Community Event
- Add a SignUp for morning drop offs
- Choose 'do your tasks need multiple time slots?' - Yes
- Choose 5 min slots
- add a task called 'Morning drop offs' and select how many people can sign up at each time (the system allows up to 10 people to choose 1 task timeslot)
- Publish the SignUp. This just means that when you invite people to the event the SignUp will show.
- Add another SignUp for afternoon pick ups
- Choose 'do your tasks need multiple time slots?' - Yes
- Choose 5 min slots
- add a task called 'Afternoon Pick ups' and select how many people can sign up at each time (the system allows up to 10 people to choose 1 task timeslot)
- Publish the SignUp
- Now back on the event page - Add guests to your event (eg the Year groups returning to school).
- Publish and send invites
