At Classlist we’re proud of the free, multifunctional platform we’ve built to make life easier for everyone in the school community. But it is understandable that, with so many apps and websites taking over different aspects of life, people want to know what makes us so special. Classlist’s unique appeal comes from the range of fresh time-saving tools we’ve integrated, as well as drawing from and building on features that exist in other forms of social media, to create one safe, convenient space for parents to use.
A Private Community
Free from the clutter and commotion of conventional social media, Classlist lets you connect quickly and easily with other parents in your school. Specifically, each class and year group has its own private group by default. Classlist is based around real school communities, where you can keep up to date with friends and their children and meet other like-minded parents.
Designed with Schools in Mind
Every Classlist community has access to a number of versatile features, tailored to ease the hassle of different aspects of being a parent. It’s easy to create events with ticketing and group invitations, buy and sell using our listing pages, create and distribute newsletters and organise the school run through the parent map. On top of all these, Classlist is a community hub where parents can chat, answer each other’s queries or fundraise together. All of this can be done in just a few clicks.
Security
When creating Classlist, we’ve tried our hardest to tackle issues commonly associated with safety and sharing personal information online. A far more secure method of connecting with the school community, Classlist is data protection registered and our signing up process and privacy policy are designed especially for schools. Furthermore, we don’t sell your information to advertisers and don’t use any online advertising software to crawl your data and place adverts.
