When signing up to your school’s Classlist page, as a minimum you will need to enter your name, email address and phone number, and the name and class of your pupil/s at the school. The child's name is required in order to determine which class and year group/s you will share contact details with when you log in. If you are new to the school and don't know which class your child is in, you can register on Classlist and assign your child to the correct class later.
You can choose to share these contact details with either the entire class/year group or you can hide them completely. You can also add the contact details of any other family members for use in an emergency, although these are not mandatory.
It’s recommended that parents with more than one child at the same school add all of their children and their classes so that they receive specific year group and class information for each child.
This information is used to help parents contact each other on Classlist. It is kept securely on Classlist’s servers and is not shared with any third party advertisers.
