This table will explain the different levels of Admin status that can be assigned to parents. The original member is an Ambassador, and can promote other members to aid them in running Classlist. It is recommended that you get your Class Admins active straight away as they will help greatly with managing the site.
The table below gives a concise summary of the different roles available to Classlist administrators. The founding member of a school's Classlist page is automatically assigned to be an Ambassador; they will be able to assign other parents to any of these roles. * Note: A non-parent admin (Staff Admin) cannot access the parent side of Classlist. This role is suited to a school leader or administrator for example. Parents can not send direct messages to Staff Admins, as they do not appear in the parent member lists.
If you wish to switch from a Staff Admin account to a parent or parent admin account such as Ambassador, you would need to delete the Staff Admin account and create a parent account. Then another Ambassador of Staff Admin could give you admin status. For more help contact us.
