What is the Daily Digest?

The Daily Digest is an email message containing highlights of today's activity on your personal Classlist site, which goes out every evening. It contains content which is relevant to you but which you may have missed if you haven't checked your Classlist account today or read your app notifications. Content could include Announcements, Marketplace posts and parent posts in your groups.  The Digest email is tailored to your account, so if you are a member of a dog walkers parent group and a certain class, you will receive any posts to those groups. This means content which appears in your Digest may not be the same as content in another parent's Digest.

On Thursdays there is no Daily Digest, as we already send a Weekly digest email which summarises the activity relevant to you for the whole week.

We optimise email settings for members.  If you read two or less daily digests a week you will not continue to receive it, you will just get the Weekly Digest.

We also detect if members are using the Classlist app and if so we turn off some email notifications.   We still send you a Daily Digest to allow you to catch up on anything you may have missed.  

Tip: Posts to the Marketplace are not sent out instantly, they are grouped into the Digest and this is the only time they will get emailed out. They are visible on the Marketplace page as soon as they are created however.
