Asking your Class Admins to help

Class Admins or Class Reps are the secret weapon of the PTA world. These hard working parents can engage one-to-one with other parents in their classes, something that a PTA Chair or Classlist Ambassador often can't do on their own. Make sure you let them know how appreciated they are, and keep up their engagement with the community. Here are some tips our Class Admins would recommend to others :

Thanks to Classlist, there's no-need for you to use a paper contact list. If you have a tablet or smartphone you can even get people invited on the spot! This way, data can't be lost and will always be up to date!

Make sure you upload a profile picture. This helps people recognise you and will make them feel more comfortable.

Try posting discussion topics that will engage other users. Discuss previous events and current affairs. The more people communicate, the more they will get to know one another!

If you are creating an announcement that contains a number of events (such as a monthly bulletin), make sure you also create the events separately on Classlist. This will allow parents to RSVP, and will act as a reminder so that they do not forget.
