You can easily change the email address linked to your account in your Profile in the 'Personal details' section. See instructions below.
If you were invited to join Classlist via two different email addresses (eg a work and a home one), you may need to unsubscribe from the email address you do not wish to use for Classlist, otherwise you will continue to receive invitations to the email address which is not registered to your Classlist account.
- Find your Profile at top left on a desktop where your name and photo appears, or under the More menu on the app.
- Open the Personal details section; your name and contact details are displayed here.
- Delete your email address, and replace it with another valid email address.
- Remember to hit the save button - it's at the bottom of the screen!
This will change the email address you have registered with Classlist to the new one. Make sure you remember to use the new email address when you next log in. You can change any of the other contact details in the same way.
You can only have one email address linked to your account at a time. If you want to receive email notifications to two different email addresses, you will need to set up a forwarding rule on your email account so that it forwards a copy of the email to your second account.
NB: Your email will change for all your schools if you were registered using the same email account at more than one school, but your password will remain unchanged.
