Event Details
If you have created an event on Classlist, you can change the details of your event at any time before the event itself.
Go to 'What's On' and select the event you would like to edit (or find it it drafts if it isn't published yet).
On the details tab you have the option to edit information, from here you can change info such as the date, time, location or RSVP date up until the event date itself, but bear in mind that you will need to notify invitees of any changes.
NB: You can only edit events you have created.
Event Guests
On the guest tab you can also
- invite more guests via the edit button (please note you can't remove someone who you have already invited, they would need to mark themselves as not going if they aren't attending).
- follow up with any that haven't responded.
- send a note to those you've invited.
- download a list of who's coming (this option can be found via the send a note link).
Event Chat
Anyone invited to an event can leave a comment on the event chat page, just as you can on a post. This is a great place to discuss any practical details about the event, such as lift shares or tips about getting to the venue, or even what to wear! Questions can be asked and answered and people can even comment on events that have been and gone. Be aware that all invited guests can view comments on the event page, however only the host and other guests who comment will receive an email or badge notification to let them know that a comment has been posted. To turn off email and badge notifications go to your profile and change your notification settings.
