Classlist has significantly updated its secure payment options to make buying event tickets and raffle entries smoother for school communities. Because Classlist uses Stripe to safely process transactions, these updates leverage Stripe's regional automated settings.
The rollout includes the following additions to payment methods:
Apple Pay & Google Pay for Raffles: While digital wallets have been available for standard event tickets, Classlist expanded Apple Pay and Google Pay functionality specifically to the Raffles ticketing platform.
Broader Regional Checkout Options: For schools and parents in various global territories, Classlist and Stripe have opened up a wider selection of localized payment methods at checkout. Stripe automatically applies the most sensible defaults based on the parent's region.
How Admins Can Manage These Changes
As a PTA or community admin, you don't have to do anything—the sensible payment defaults for your school's region are automatically handled at checkout. However, if you want to explicitly enable, disable, or review which payment options are active for your school's events and raffles, you can manage them directly by logging into your school’s connected Stripe Dashboard.
