Payment Fees

Classlist platform fees

• Classlist charges 1.5% platform fees for events with paid tickets, which is cheaper than other platforms. See more information on setting up an Event.
• Classlist charges 4.5% for raffle ticket sales, which is cheaper than other raffle platforms. Classlist has an automated online draw and sends notifications to the winners. See more information about running a Raffle on Classlist

Stripe Payment processor fee

Transactions also have payment processor fees.

• The standard fee is 1.5% + 20p per transaction
• Charitable status - reduce your Stripe fee to 1.3% + 20p per transaction

Tip: Please factor in the transaction charges when setting ticket prices. Because of the 20p/transaction stripe fee we suggest either selling a bundle of tickets together or adding the fee to the ticket price eg if you were planning to sell £1 tickets they could now be sold for £1.25.

The above Stripe fees relate to standard cards in the UK, please check Stripe's website for more details.  Stripe fees can vary by country so please check the fees in your own country. Classlist's fee is 1.5% irrespective of where you are located.

NB: Some platforms quote only their own fee, or only the payment processor fee and do not make it very obvious you will be charged both!   When you compare like-with-like Classlist aims to have the lowest fees of any comparable platform.
